Instructions on How to make SCD yogurt

Basic Steps for Use (See manual for complete instructions):
1. Pour 6 cups of milk into saucepan. Bring milk to a boil.
2. Remove from heat and add Thermometer Stirrer and let milk cool to the "Add Starter" level.
3. Add starter (2 Heaping TBS. store-bought plain yogurt) to one of the jars and add some heated milk and stir. Pour this mixture back into the large batch of heated milk and stir well.
4. Pour milk equally among jars, cover jars with included lids and place jars into the yogurt maker.
5. Place unit cover on the heat base and plug in yogurt maker.
6. Yogurt maker automatically shuts off at the end of the cooking cycle, which is 19 hours. To ensure 24 hour yogurt, restart your maker anytime after 5 hours. Remove jars and place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before serving.
